<image:caption>“Quiroz” was born on March 13, 1967 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Canada, where he completed most of his High School career, with some of it done in Colombia. In 1988 he graduated from Vancouver Film School in Cinema and Television, after beginning in NYU. He began his career as an Assistant Director in TV movies and series including “ 21 Jump Street” (with Johnny Depp) “Booker” (with Richard Grieco), and also in Feature Films such as “This Boy’s Life” (Featuring Robert de Niro and Leonardo Di Caprio.) In 1992 he founded his first production company “Atellier Cine y Video”, which later merged with “Jes Digital” to create “New Blood Films.” In 1999 “La Banda Films” was born, and grew to produce world-wide campaigns for companies such as: Pepsi, Frito Lay, and Procter and Gamble. Because of this, La Banda Films became a leader in Colombia, and all of South America, where it produced material for some of the biggest companies in the region. Quiroz settled in Miami, FL in 2009 as a freelance director working and representing several Agencies in Latin America, which lead to major campaigns for clients such as: Starbucks, Toyota, and SAB Miller. These projects have featured a wide variety of talents, styles, and technologies, making each work different and exciting. He’s currently living in Savannah, GA, co-founding a production-service and production company called “Ooki Cinema.” A company focused on enhancing the booming film industry in GA by bringing work to be produced locally at a larger scale.</image:caption>
